Craig Milroy
B.Bus (Acc), CPA.
Craig has over 18 years experience working in public accounting practice and has gained considerable experience in all areas of business services and taxation during this time.
After working in the same accounting firm for 11 years, Craig was offered the opportunity to acquire the practice and in 2002 decided to purchase and succeed as Managing Director of the firm.
Craig managed the practice for four years and then in 2006 assisted in the establishment of Milroy Hodgson Partners, enabling it to become one of the leading accounting firms in the area today.
Craig has a long association with many of his clients, and it is this personal approach to his client's affairs that has enabled Milroy Hodgson Partners to provide the level of services it offers today.
During his career, Craig has worked with clients across a number of industries including:
- medical practitioners and veterinarians;
- manufacturing;
- retail;
- farming;
- property development;
- building and construction; and
- labour hire.
Along with providing small business consulting and advisory services to his clients, Craig oversees the Firm's Self Managed Superannuation Fund operations.
Craig has a young family and lives locally. He enjoys spending time with his three sons, camping, fishing and golf.
Darren Hodgson
B.Bus (Acc), FNTAA, JP.
Darren has over 16 years experience in the accounting profession and during this time has gained a wealth of experience by working in both smaller accounting practices to larger multi-partner firms. It has been during this time that Darren has been able to manage and assist many businesses of differing sizes in dealing with many issues that arise.
After gaining his professional experience, Darren decided he could provide a more personal service to his clients and in 2003 decided to establish his own accounting practice which grew rapidly over a three year period.
It was this dramatic growth and his vision for the future which would enable the establishment of Milroy Hodgson Partners and the level of services provided to clients today.
Darren's passion during his professional career has been to assist and encourage his business clients to develop, expand and grow with their business and personal goals. He achieves this by becoming professionally involved with his clients businesses, and using key analysis tools to identify and encourage growth opportunities.
During his career Darren has worked with clients across a number of industries including:
- property development;
- building and construction;
- retail;
- service;
- real estate;
- farming; and
- transport.
Along with providing small business consulting and advisory services to his clients, Darren oversees the Firm's Business Growth & Development operations.
Darren enjoys spending time with his young family, surfing and following rugby league.
